Excited for basketball season to start? The Scoop is too!  We’re especially looking forward to the Highway Cat Fight.  This game opposes the Drury University Panthers against the Southwest Baptist University Bearcats. .

“It is very important.  Not only is it good to get an win early in the season it is a big rivalry game in Southwest Missouri,” said captain of the Drury basketball team John Williams.

Drury and SBU have been intense rivals for decades and the next episode of this rivalry will take place November 14 on the SBU campus in Bolivar, Missouri.  The Drury Athletic department will provide transportation for students.
