Are you and your love looking for a perfect honeymoon destination to start your new chapter? If the answer is yes, Debbie Taylor has got you covered.

The Scoop recently talked with the Holiday Planners‘ Supervisor to discuss the top trending six honeymoon destinations. Taylor has been in the travel industry for 13 years and is currently living in Branson, Missouri. She helps her clients find the perfect vacation that fits their needs and wants. Her interests are planning cruises, honeymoons, all inclusive, beach, and Disney vacations.

“It relieves the stress of them having to do the work and not knowing if they got the best price or picked the right place,” Taylor states.

1. Mexico (Cancun, Riviera Maya)

Spend the beginning of your new chapter on the white coral sand beaches of Mexico. Cancun and Riviera Maya are perfect destinations if you want ultimate relaxation. The beautiful, turquoise Caribbean Sea is always the perfect temperature for swimming and full of majestic wildlife. Many of the stunning resorts are all inclusive and will provide you with anything you could imagine. If you or your loved one are divers, take a day to head to the nearby city of Cozumel, which is one of the top diving sites in the world.

“There are also historic Mayan Temples such as Chichen Itza and Tulum nearby, which makes a great adventure day,” adds Taylor.

2. Jamaica

Like Mexico, Jamaica is surrounded with the enchanting blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. The Knot states, “Jamaica is known for being home to a slew of super-luxurious all-inclusives, which means you get a five-star honeymoon experience without breaking the bank.” However, if you’d rather not stay at the resorts and lay on the beach all day, go explore and discover the various beautiful waterfalls while hiking. The locals are very friendly, full of energy, and helpful. They love having tourists experience their culture by listening to the authentic Reggae music.

Taylor mentions, “Mexico and Jamaica have always been among the top, but we’ve seen a growing trend over the last couple of years for these next destinations… ”

3. Ireland

If you lovebirds are wanting to get away from everyone and not be surrounded by other vacationers, go to the charming country of Ireland. It’ll be much easier to get around if you’re an English speaker, compared to some other European countries. You’ll be enchanted by how green the rolling hills in the countryside are. Various farmhouses, breweries, and more than 340 castles are scattered throughout the country, so you can always find something to see. During the day witness the iconic Ireland cliffs and feel like you’re standing on the edge of the world. At night, head to the nearest village, kick back at the local pub and listen to live traditional Irish music.

4. Scotland

When Scotland comes to mind, you’d probably think bagpipes and kilts, but there is so much more than that. “Similar to Ireland, Scotland’s landscape mainly countryside landscapes and a primarily English speaking country,” says Taylor.

Get ready to swing your clubs because this is the ‘Home of Golf.’ Golf was invented here and has some of the world’s most famous courses. If you are looking for an adventure, take the day to tour the famous Edinburgh Castle or the West Highland Line Train, also known as the Hogwarts Express Train in Harry Potter movies. As you stroll along the coastline, you are sure to see various wildlife such as puffins, seals, dolphin, whales, or perhaps you’ll spot Nessie, the legendary Loch Ness Monster.

5. Germany

Adventure in Germany through the beautiful historic cities and towns. If your saying the, “I do,” in the fall, it’d be fun to experience the famous Oktoberfest in Munich. You’d be participating in German culture firsthand, along with a big ole beer in your hands. Popular tourist spots are the Grand Cologne Cathedral, the historic Berlin Wall, and the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. You honeymooners could also take the popular driving route, Romantic Road, that’s 220 miles long in southern Germany. Along the road trip, witness quaint towns and iconic castles like Neuschwanstein, the inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty’s castle.

6. Disney & Universal Parks in Florida

Speaking of Disney, the last and “biggest” growing honeymoon destination are Disney & Universal Parks in Orlando, Florida.

“If you believe in fairy tales and enjoy enchanting entertainment, come to the place where dream-making is a top priority and storybook fantasies can become everyday realities. On a magical Disney honeymoon, you’ll dine like royalty, dream in luxurious accommodations, sit together on thrilling attractions and enjoy spectacular fireworks shows. Get ready for a honeymoon filled with wonder and delight—where every day has a fairy-tale ending.” – Disney’s Honeymoons
