Author and former Secret Service agent Tim Wood to Speak at Westminster College

Tim Wood will be returning to his home state on September 23 to speak on his life experiences as a Secret Service agent.

He has served a total of 22 years in the Secret Service in various capacities, including operations with the Department of the Treasury and in the White House. While working in the Treasury, Wood fought counterfeiting and credit card fraud. During his White House tenure, Wood protected Clinton and both Bushes.

Tim Wood left the Secret Service in 2006 and worked for a private company in Africa until 2015. He recently wrote a memoir, Criminals & Presidents: The Adventure of a Secret Service Agent, which recounts several tales of time in service.

Wood will be speaking about his book and other Secret Service experiences at Westminster College in Fulton, Mo. His talk will start at 12 p.m. in the Hazel wing of the library, room 112.
