Hands of Hope volunteer opportunity in Springfield

Convoy of Hope is a non-profit organization that responds to poverty issues and disasters.  Based out of Springfield, Missouri, this organization offers a wonderful volunteer opportunity called Hands of Hope.

Hands of Hope calls for volunteers to gather and package supplies that are sent to those in need.  Kids ages 10 and up as well as adults are encouraged to volunteer some of their time give back to the community.  Kids under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 10-17 must have a signed release form in order to participate.

Molly Erickson, Director of Public Relations at Convoy of Hope, is grateful for all of the volunteers that have given their time and effort to make Hands of Hope a success.  “We couldn’t do what we do without our faithful volunteers. Because of them, we’ve been able to serve more than 70 million people throughout the world since 1994.”
