‘To Kill a Mockingbird’ hits Springfield stage

Literature and live-theater lovers rejoice — “To Kill a Mockingbird” will be coming to the Landers Theatre this spring beginning Feb. 28.

The play, penned in 1990 by Christopher Sergel, is based upon the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, written by Harper Lee. Like the book, the adaptation is now an integral part of the culture of Monroeville, Ala.

The performances will run through March 9.
